- T2 Padded Shorts come with 7 multi-layer/multi-density pads that are held in seven pockets on the back and sides of the shorts. The pockets are designed to allow minimal spacing between the pads. - Customizable Pad Thickness - All sizes come with a 5/8" thick pad configuration. The inner layer of padding is the softest and the outer layer is the firmest. See the image gallery for some of our recommended layer configurations. Warning The tailbone pad should not be reduced to a total thickness of less than 1/2, and the glute pads should not be reduced to a total thickness of less than 3/8.
